Annah Stretton is the founder of the Annah Stretton fashion label, a successful New Zealand entrepreneur, author of three books and speaker. With a strong online platform and 25 retail stores, her philanthropic efforts provide substantial support to a wide range of charitable groups and organisations across New Zealand. She was the recipient of the Veuve Clicquot Award and has an order of Merit for services to business fashion and community.
In 2013 she set up her own foundation and from this came her first initiative RAW.
RAW was launched in the Waikato in February 2014. Since then there have been 50 functional mentoring relationships established between women coming out of violent and criminal situations and looking to change behaviours and embrace their full potential. RAW is now in the second stage of their pilot working with incarcerated recidivist female offenders who society has not been able to re integrate.
In 2015 she was the recipient of the ASB Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
